We will guide you through the super simple delivery rules creation system available to you.
1 - Creation of custom delivery rules
To use it, go to “ Settings ”, then click on “ Delivery ”.
In the “ Custom Shipping Rules ” section, you will be able to choose a condition for calculating your shipping costs.
Two choices are available:
Order amount
Weight of items
When you choose "Order amount", the delivery amount will be calculated based on the total order amount, allowing you to create shipping costs quickly.
When you choose "Weight of items", the amount is calculated precisely according to the final weight of the order, in order to charge your customers a delivery fee calculated as accurately as possible.
Once your calculation condition is selected, all you have to do is create your different shipping zones (which are groups of countries) and their associated rules.
You have probably noticed the mention “ Specific Rule ” at the end of the form.
These fields allow you to create specific rules that you can link to your physical products: activation is done directly from the product.
This allows, for example, to charge the customer a special rate if the product for sale is particularly heavy or if it requires a special means of transport.
Be careful though, if this rule is associated with a product, at the time of purchase, it will take precedence over all your other custom rules.
2 - Apply your custom rules to all your products
By default, TPOP shipping fees are automatically calculated for the shipment of TPOP products. However, we give you the option to apply your own custom rules to all your products (including TPOP products).
To do this, it's very simple, at the bottom of the page there should be a checkbox allowing you to also apply your custom shipping rules to your TPOP products.
And there you go, your products are now ready to take off.
